This Privacy Policy applies to the Event Planner & RSVP by Splash mobile application (the "App"), developed and operated by Creative Splash Event Planners. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your information. By using our App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Access
Our App may request access to the following data on your device, solely for the purpose of providing App functionality:
Device Contacts
The App accesses your local device Contacts solely to allow you to conveniently select and add guests and vendors to your events. Contact data is read on-demand when you choose to import a contact and is never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any external server.
WhatsApp Messaging
The App generates pre-filled WhatsApp messages using the official WhatsApp Intent / API (wa.me links). This means the App simply opens WhatsApp with a pre-composed message — we do not have access to your WhatsApp account, message history, or any WhatsApp data. All messaging is handled entirely by the official WhatsApp application on your device.
We do not collect: location data, camera/microphone access, payment information, browsing history, device identifiers, or any other sensitive personal information unless explicitly stated and consented to in a future update to this policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
Any data accessed by the App is used exclusively to provide the features you actively request. Specifically:

- check_circle To generate RSVP invitations and reminder messages via WhatsApp for your events.

3. Data Storage & Security
All event data, guest lists, budget records, and RSVP information you create in the App are stored securely on your local device. We do not operate any cloud servers that store your personal event data.

- • Contact information accessed from your phone is used in-memory only and is not persisted externally.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share any of your personal data, event details, contact lists, or budget information with any third parties, advertisers, or data brokers — ever.
The only "third-party" interaction is the WhatsApp messaging feature, which uses the official WhatsApp Intent/API to open the WhatsApp app on your device. Creative Splash has no access to or control over your WhatsApp data, and WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy applies to that interaction.
We may share aggregated, anonymized, non-personally identifiable information for analytical purposes (e.g., total number of events created) but this will never identify any individual user.
5. App Permissions Explained
Below is a plain-language explanation of the permissions our App may request:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our App or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
